This service support office for a Global Consulting Firm was designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and a strong sense of belonging. Openbook Architecture developed an innovative concept centred around fluid, organic forms that break away from traditional office configurations, encouraging team agglomeration and dynamic interaction.
The spatial strategy introduces zones that promote flexibility and productivity, with open layouts complemented by breakout areas and collaborative hubs. These elements support seamless communication and knowledge sharing across teams.
To embed a sense of identity and local culture, the reception area pays tribute to Portuguese craftsmanship, incorporating patterns inspired by traditional pavement and ceramics. This creates a smooth transition between the external cityscape and the internal workspace, reinforcing the connection to Lisbon.
Biophilic design principles were also integrated, bringing nature indoors to enhance well-being and stimulate creativity. The result is a workspace that balances functionality with cultural resonance, offering a distinctive and inspiring environment for a global team.
