Galp’s new headquarters in Lisbon, designed by Openbook Architecture in partnership with Tétris, embodies the company’s forward-thinking spirit and commitment to innovation, sustainability, and people. Located on the Alcântara waterfront near LX Factory, the building reflects Galp’s dynamic energy through a fluid and diverse spatial composition that fosters creativity and collaboration.
Spread across seven floors, the architecture embraces organic forms and transparency, allowing the energy within the building to radiate outward. Carefully selected materials, expressive ceilings, and a vibrant color palette contribute to a stimulating and welcoming environment.
The design integrates artistic interventions, including custom ceramic panels in the cafeteria areas created by guest artists and produced by Viúva Lamego, adding cultural depth and uniqueness to the workspace.
Operational floors are structured around collaborative hubs, offering varied work settings that support flexibility and team interaction. The result is a workplace that not only enhances productivity but also reflects Galp’s identity and values—projecting a vision of sustainability, innovation, and human connection.
