More than an office: a handcrafted ecosystem of entropy, energy, and exploration, rooted in Portugal and reaching the world.
Set along Lisbon’s Tejo riverfront, Cloudflare’s European hub is a vibrant embodiment of the company’s mission to connect and protect the world. Designed by Openbook Architecture, the 2,200 sqm space merges local craftsmanship with global purpose, transforming the workplace into a dynamic landscape of discovery.
Guided by the concept of Energetic Entropy, the design flows like a wave, encouraging movement, collaboration, and creativity. Modular furniture, adaptable zones, and handcrafted materials reflect a commitment to flexibility and storytelling. A standout feature is the Entropy Installation: a kinetic wave machine inspired by the unpredictability of data, anchoring the space with both symbolism and spectacle.
From ceramic sardines to algorithm-driven floor patterns, every detail is a dialogue between tradition and technology. Sustainability shaped every choice, while Lisbon’s light, textures, and culture infuse the space with warmth and identity.
This is more than an office. It’s a dock for exploration, a haven for innovation, and a celebration of human-space interaction.
