The project develops a Service Station and proposes a compact piece, of minimal dimensions, which encompasses the entire programme necessary for this use. The closed customer service and shop module becomes a canopy in its horizontal development, giving rise to a fluted concrete prism volumetry that appears as if excavated in its north-eastern end to invite the customer to stock up under its shade.
Its elongated rectangular shape has its major axis parallel to the surroundings of the Millares Brothers' Park, and perpendicular to the route of the street Obispo Romo. In its excavated part, the volume is carved out of glass to generate the visual relationship between its two characteristic areas. Thus, one part of this opening is protected by the roof, while the other, longer part faces southeast. The proposed formal play responds to the geometries of the site, a balanced proposal between the built, the covered and the surroundings.
