Maona Village Center is located in Wuzhishan City, Hainan Province, with a building area of approximately 2000 square meters and a main structure made of original bamboo. The basic unit is abstracted from the Li ethnic boat house, which is composed of five units and designed in conjunction with landscape design, forming a continuous undulating canopy shape in the midst of rainforest plants. The building provides multifunctional spaces for villagers' activities, offices, village history exhibitions, and tourist reception. The second floor leisure platform is partially elevated as an observation deck, offering a close-up view of the entire village and a distant view of Wuzhishan. The raised top of the canopy unit is designed as a skylight for natural lighting, and the layered roof structure facilitates natural ventilation, providing a more comfortable environment for villagers, visitors, and others. The exterior walls of the building below the canopy are coated with locally developed red clay, and the ground is paved with permeable red volcanic rock gravel, combined with traditional Li ethnic patterns, fully reflecting the regional cultural characteristics.
