A house designed for a new phase of life. After the children moved out, a couple decided to
start from scratch. The original residence was demolished to make way for a new project by
the architect, designed by Dado Castello Branco, specifically for this new stage of life:
lighter, more practical, and aligned with a routine of frequent travel.
Built on a 500 m2 lot, the house is organized into three levels and opts for verticalization as a
response to the compact terrain, without sacrificing a complete program. The top floor
houses the couple's suite and a home office; the intermediate level concentrates the living
area, facing the garden, and the children's suites; the lower level accommodates the garage,
gym, and a personal workshop for the owner.
The project stands out for the fluidity between spaces and constant integration with nature.
The material palette, involving wood, exposed concrete, and large glass panels, creates a
contemporary and welcoming atmosphere. The sense of comfort is reinforced by the
landscaping signed by Gilberto Elkis, in which a lush vertical garden accompanies the
facade and expands the connection with the surroundings.
