Located in the immediate vicinity of one of São Paulo's main avenues, the JLS project embodies a cosmopolitan vision of living. The entire development of the space was conceived to reflect the personality, authenticity, and soul of its residents.
From the floors in travertine marble chips to the monolithic yellow bamboo staircase, which contrasts with the imposing carved wooden volume, each element reinforces the unique character of the apartment. Nature is present not only in the view but in every chosen material—mostly natural, preserving raw textures and appearances, as if they had just been taken from the earth.
More than just finishes, the relationship with the surroundings is a central axis of the project. The expansive garden and generous openings connect the interior with the Jardim Europa landscape: the greenery, the sky, the light, and the vegetation enter the apartment as an integral part of the living experience.
The furniture in the JLS project is another element that reinforces its authenticity. Each piece was chosen or designed to express irreverence and personality. Sofas from the brands DeSede and Arflex coexist with an ethnic bar, supported by fringed straw feet—choices that reveal a bold and sensitive curation.
The pieces from Suite Design, the furniture arm of Suite Arquitetos, further deepen this perspective. The authorial pieces designed especially for the apartment—such as the rug and the two coffee tables—impose a strong presence in the space. One of the tables, in travertine marble, explores textures in a sensory way, an element that is constantly explored in the studio's work. The other, the Entrelaço table, is made of hand-braided silk straw, a unique piece that imparts exclusivity to the environment.
