The design of the Villa Friederich is based on a simple rectangular volume. A big cutout in the centre forms the terrace which is equipped with a removable textile roof. The composition of the rooms follow the different views on the site. The kitchen is orientated to the back garden of the house. The living and TV room overlook the terrace and the front garden towards the street. On the upper floor are the bedrooms of the family located as well as a roof terrace.
