Located in the River Oaks neighborhood of Houston, this project is phase one of a 9-acre mixed-use development. Inspired by the great residential-style hotels of the city’s past, the design is crafted around traditional detailing and materials. Designed to address the neighborhood street, an off-street entry sequence is created through the use of a motor courtyard that acts as the centerpiece for both phase one and two. The building is eight stories of brick and cast stone with a mix of 344 residential units, including street level townhouses with private entrances. Luxury amenities include a full-service resident-only bar, a fully-outfitted supper kitchen and dining room, and a state-of-the-art media and communal living room, as well as a fully-equipped fitness studio and library. The building’s ground-level public spaces resemble those of a grand hotel, with open lobbies and plenty of seating and work areas to be used by both residents and their guests. At the center of the building is the split-level landscaped courtyard that combines brick walks, outdoor cooking, and a resort-style pool. The project is also served by a six-level integrated parking garage.
