The architectural concept of the SKELYA complex combines contemporary architectural design and functionality that seamlessly integrates into the surrounding mountain landscape. Perched on a mountainside and adjacent to a ski slope, this complex becomes not only a cozy place for relaxation and living but also a significant center for socio-cultural events in Bukovel.
The main idea of this complex is a structure composed of three residential blocks and a public area. Highlighting the advantages of each block, architectural solutions provide spaces for relaxation, commerce, and entertainment, while ensuring privacy and comfort for every visitor. The public space between the blocks acts as a connecting link, integrating the complex into the surrounding environment and offering commercial and recreational opportunities, creating a symbolic bridge between the ski slope and the adjacent development.
This space becomes the hub of social and cultural activity, attracting both complex guests and visitors to the ski resort alike. The complex's active leisure begins with a two-story shopping and entertainment center with a usable roof. The central square near the shopping center creates the perfect arena for various events, from concerts and exhibitions to meetings between resort visitors.
The main focal point is the waterfall cascading from the roof's peak. Water flows down, forming a powerful yet elegant stream that falls into an artificial reservoir seamlessly integrated with the central square. Against the backdrop of the waterfall, guests can take incredible selfies that will become unforgettable memories.
The reservoir becomes more than just a decorative element; it becomes the center of attention and attraction for guests. Water and light play unusual musical symphonies, and evening light shows create a spectacular performance that inspires and enchants.
The complex's silhouette gives the impression of majestic cliffs towering over the surrounding valleys. Each block's façade is endowed with its unique geometric shape, adhering to the principles of sustainable architecture. The façades are made using natural materials, emphasizing their organic and natural qualities. All apartments feature panoramic windows and balconies that allow residents to enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. The unique roof design has allowed for individual terraces with pools for the apartments on the upper floors of each block.
