The main goal of this project is redeveloping a community service center in Seoul for local people, which, before, suited to government officers. The newly-designed space will be comfortable and attractive to locals and that helps their unaffected communication.
To avoid the heavy atmosphere of government office, birch plywood and light grey surfaces are employed. Taking out partition walls covering the window, horizontal wooden louvers cover desks and walls, which exhibit space wider. Moreover, combination of unique texture in plywood edge and small plants bring warm and friendly mood to local community.
