When the owners joined two apartments together, their intention was to create an open loft. Unfortunately, simply joining the two apartments was not enough to give the sense of a single and expansive space. By designing long linear cabinets and counters, ACHA was able to tie the two apartments into one seamless loft-like space. At the same time, by giving attention to detail and subtle changes in materials, ACHA was also able to give character and definition to the different activities within that space.
