Pensar Development is a Seattle-based product design and engineering firm. In this, their latest office and design studio space, the firm wanted to marry its engineering disciplines with its product development team as closely as possible, while still maintaining an open, light-filled environment that paid homage to the neighborhood's old brick buildings. R&D labs, 3D printers, workshops, project war rooms and desk space all sit in close relation to one another so team members can seamlessly flow from whiteboard idea to physical prototyping. The reception area remains open along with the employee kitchen and break area to take in the western light and expansive view of Puget Sound.
