The Oracle Campus has become an icon known throughout the world, representing one of the most successful software companies in history. The 8 to 16 story office buildings are compositions of rectangular and cylindrical forms that respond to various site conditions around a lagoon that is an extension of San Francisco Bay. The materials are a combination of blue-green glass curtain wall, to recall the imagery of water, and white pre-cast concrete, which dramatically defines the building’s form. The entire project provides over 1.5 million square feet of office space, multiple parking structures, and other amenities, including the 50,000 square foot Oracle Fitness Center. While the unique composition of forms creates a dynamic architectural statement, the buildings provide extremely efficient and flexible floor space. Completed prior to the formation of KSH Architects.
