A continuation of the Niemenranta elementary school, this nursery is a collection of carefully designed and functional cell-like spaces that connect to the intimate yards for appropriate age groups and the semi-public lobby and dining spaces, which are connected to the school facilities, providing a natural continuation of growing spaces for kids. The white wooden cladding and undulating brick walls echo the architectural themes of the school, but with covered outdoor spaces and fences scaled down to the level of smaller children.
