Four wooden wedges constrain a central lobby inside the building. Between the functional wings, separate courtyards are created for various uses, such as a public square in front of the library and schoolyards for students of different ages. Local history is shown in detail, like cladding the building with tarred wood that was produced and transported through the area. Colored metal sheets add color and playfulness and create an ever-changing optical phenomenon. Floors are clad in striped linoleum that resemble local handcrafted carpets.
