Mulini Beach is located on the exit from the central part of Rovinj and in the continuation of the promenade.
An important factor in the design of the beach was the relationship to existing terrain. The design was dependent on the sea as a variable element (the sea level varies approximately two and a half feet due to the influence of the tides). That variance is why the entire area is divided into two zones — a stretch from the marina to the beach pavilion designed as a natural topography with sunbathing surfaces and a much calmer bay with a pebble beach.
Mulini Beach Bar, with a large bar and accompanying services, is located in the center of the beach. It is designed as a pavilion with a floating pergola roof — a steel structure that rests on six points the shape of which was determined by an analysis of sun movement through the summer months.
