This is a renovation project of a private nursery company owns. It’s a wedding company that owns and manages this nursery. Common nursery couldn’t satisfy their needs because employees work not only weekdays but also in holidays. So, this company made a nursery open all around year. It’s the management identity in this nursery that everyone enjoys oneself at everything. For example, parents enjoy raising as well as working. Children get glad to sense their own glowing up. Therefore, flexible spaces are required adjusting with the number and the age, and each usage. We designed two infant rooms and one toddler room. Each size of the rooms can be adjusted to several sizes according to situations and needs, with movable furniture and partition which can be opened fully. Also, toddler room is a L-shaped, facing street. Along the street, some small corners are made with anuninterrupted low wall bent any number of times. The wall gives expansion in the narrow area of spaces. Moreover, we aim that each of corners can be seen as shop window by children using them for several kinds of play, where passers-by and parents can see how children play.
