Meadow Creek Church was presented the opportunity to develop their own facility just down the street from their current site, offering flexibility to grow, expanded services and programs to better serve their congregation. Thielen & Green was engaged under an integrated project approach with Kinghorn Construction to provide full scope architectural and interior design services from conceptual design and programming through construction administration.
Programming includes a grand entrance with full lobby, small café, several gathering spaces, 500+ seat worship auditorium, five offices, conference room, open office area, nursey with full check-in counter, nine classrooms, commercial kitchen, gymnasium, storage, equipment, utility and support spaces. The design is a contemporary blend of soft textures with warm tones and various pops of color to support Meadow Creek’s brand identity. Large panes of glass, clearstory windows and metal projections help modernize the shell offering clean views and expansive natural light, blending the threshold between the exterior. The project began construction in late 2025 and will be completed in fall 2026.
This project utilized full BIM modeling for early design review, project coordination and clash detection, with a goal to limit field changes and expedite construction timelines.
