This is a nursery in front of the river in Tokyo. In this urbanized area, this nursery is designed not only as the place where people can feel the change of season and feel the connection with others, but as a city hub where interact with people, nature and art. The spaces are placed, where children can experience everything like modern art as well as nature. The reflection window which shows season and the motion of people to children, the hall which develop the communication among different generation, the atelier where children can see the process of art works, and the art gallery where children can see and feel close to art works. These spaces will develop children’s sensibility by interacting with others through nature and art and feeling many direct experiences and any changes. Many chances are put in every spaces that By feeling nature and art every day, the sensibility will be grown, and by interacting with different generation and many artists, the interests in society and curiosity will be grown. In this way, many chances are designed for children to grow by themselves here.
