Located on a sprawling 170-acre site in the Santa Cruz Mountains, the Center will provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art rehabilitative care for sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife from San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. The Center totals about 80,000 sf, including 50 outdoor rehabilitation enclosures, an Intake and Education Center that is open to the public, a fully-equiped Wildlife Hospital, and a first-of-its-kind Captive Breeding Facility that will address the imminent demise of many of California’s imperiled species.
