By positioning itself at the edge of the slope and in line with the school, the kindergarten spatially encloses the hard court and naturally expands the school complex. In contrast to the extension with its orthogonal floor plan and rounded exterior corners, the kindergarten presents a clear exterior form and playful shapes within.
The ramps, which follow the slope of the hillside, and the rounded walls create flowing and exciting interior spaces. The elliptical cores, containing restrooms, technical equipment, and group rooms, divide the building into two main spaces and a circulation area. This area connects the hard court with the kindergarten's outdoor space. The projecting canopies and exterior walls of the cores echo the interior design language and materials, extending the concept to the exterior.
The beautiful trees in the outdoor area have been preserved and provide protection from the summer heat. The playground, with its climbing tower, stone arena, and moat with gravel and water features, resembles a castle and invites children to imaginative play.
