The project seeks to address the contemporary challenges of urban living. Located in a neighborhood that offers a high-quality urban experience, the project adopts a sustainable approach. Beyond environmental criteria, the emphasis lies on accessibility, mobility, and the humanization of the building, providing optimized and intelligent apartments alongside generous common areas that expand the boundaries of the concept of home.
The rooftop, one of the highest in the city, was conceived to connect with the surrounding landscape and neighborhood, emphasizing the panoramic view of the Guaíba River. The glazed gourmet space integrates with the outdoor lounge areas, while the strategic positioning of the pool stands out within the building’s volumetry, connecting residents to the surrounding urban landscape.
Despite the considerable built area, the vertical design allowed for a more pedestrian-friendly implementation, incorporating spaces for rest and contemplation along the sidewalk. References for the façade were inspired by natural patterns and human-made crafts, such as scales or patterned fabrics, composed through continuous rhythmic movement and elements in balanced proportions. Biophilia also influenced the interiors, highlighting the importance of contact with nature for quality of life.
Regarding materials and finishes, the selection aims to provide a practical and comfortable environment. Finishes were chosen to give identity to the spaces while combining durability and easy maintenance. Special elements, such as exposed concrete walls, hydraulic tiles in the laundry area, and the use of color, contribute to defining the character of each interior environment. At ground level, the building’s exterior is characterized by elements that promote natural ventilation for the garages. In the apartments, planters were integrated into the balconies through a volumetric composition that establishes nature as a protagonist both within the interiors and in the building’s external identity.
