This new pool house completes an elegant Spanish Revival estate designed by Grosvenor Atterbury in the 1920s. Conceived as an open-air pavilion, the overscale arched doors disappear into the walls, providing easy flow from the pool terrace to gardens designed by Mario Nievera and a tennis pergola.
Our interpretations of the existing house’s Spanish details continue the style throughout the property, creating deep shadows at the eaves, doors, and windows — providing drama in an otherwise “all-white” building. A stylized Greek temple caps the chimney and provides sculptural focus to the fountain at the tennis court.
Interiors with LC Studio are a modern take on Palm Beach Spanish Revival, with overscale classical pattern beams on the ceiling and wood and tile floors. Stylized “curtains” in white oak shape grace the arched openings and frame beautiful views of Sienese steps spilling into the landscape.
