De Santos Gallery serves as both an art gallery and a photography studio. Located in the Montrose/Upper Kirby area just minutes from The Menil Collection, the 4,200 SF space is a carved-out block of galvanized steel, plaster, and glass. The first floor is a dedicated gallery space showcasing photographic work from around the world, with a private second-floor photography studio. The third floor includes the owner’s office loft, and a rest area with a terrace for perfect for outdoor portrait photography.
All interior display and working spaces are interconnected, however, the second-floor private studio and third-floor loft areas work independently from the first-floor gallery. The front and back ends of the property serve as public and private parking, respectively. When inside the gallery, visitors catch a glimpse of the reflection pool, private patio, and outdoor sculpture garden.
