The pavilion, constructed from Japan's thinnest and lightest 36mm Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT), played a pivotal role at the WOOD Collection event in January 2019, serving as the exhibition booth for TOTTORI CLT Co., Ltd. Designed for swift assembly at the event venue, the structure is ingeniously segmented into small components, each fitting neatly into a 160-sized cardboard box (500mm in length, 501mm in depth) for effortless transportation. Moreover, the assembly process is remarkably simple, requiring no screws or specialized tools. The pieces seamlessly connect, guided by numbered curves on each piece's surface, ensuring an intuitive and efficient construction process.
