The starting point for the development of Azion’s newest office was the search for wider leisure spaces and a feeling of a less bureaucratic work concept. A container for smaller meetings was placed in the center of the space, dividing the working area from the lounge. The wooden bleachers, a bar and a video game area create the main living area and connect directly to the outside facilities on the terrace. The different office spaces are connected by a path on the floor that not only creates multifunctional spaces but also indicates the track for scooters.

Several design strategies were based on the clients' taste for technology and fascination for the geek culture. Around the office, action figures and bobble heads collections fill the concrete and expanded steel shelves, exhibiting the users’ personalities. The shelves are also a visual blockage between the workstations and the management rooms. In contrast to the sobriety and rigidity of materials such as steel and concrete, the furniture chosen has a lighter design and dialogues harmonically with the details in natural wood and indoor vegetation.

Keeping the concrete slab visible was decisive for the ceiling layout. The orthogonal ribs are the background for the whole infrastructure, reassuring a brutal aesthetic. Along with the rawness of the other materials it highlights the industrial aspect of the project. Within the grid formed by the beams, the lighting unfolds in an interesting way: sometimes creating arrows and suggesting the most important sights.

The workstations are interspersed with spaces for resting and informal meetings: their positioning allows circulation on the perimeter, creating a greater integration among the users. The stations displacement therefore admits a comfortable and flexible layout.
