Address: Vardanants., Yerevan, Armenia
Area: 160.0 m²
Project year: 2012
The apartment was designed for a young family with a small child.
The original design of the apartment had a number of serious imperfections. The apartment had a lot of dark rooms and unused spaces. While creating the interior architecture these defects have been possibly removed. As a result the dark hall area became smaller, lost spaces have been reduced. The wall between the hall and the bathroom received a curved shape, which visually expanded the space. Wallpapers with a geometrical ornament in the proportions of the golden section reinforces this effect and gives the interior of the hallway dynamism. Additional feeling of depth was created with a big mirror on the wall.
The main feature of the interior is the strict separation of spaces into functional areas. For example, the master bedroom is divided into zones for work and leisure. That effect is achieved due to different levels of ceilings and built-in lights that accent the border of the work zone.
Wallpapers of Belgian factory "Arte-International" were used for the bedroom decoration. Floors are made of massive oak boards. The presence of such traditional materials gives the modern interior a feeling of comfort and coziness.
Guest bedroom is made in light colors. The main decoration element of the room are the colorful posters by famous Armenian photographer Suren Manvelyan.
The child’s room is bright and colorful. Walls are decorated with wallpapers and children's drawings. All of this creates an atmosphere of joy and happiness.
Furniture of leading factories "Meridiani", "Pianca", "Cattelan", "Calligaris", etc., as well as lighting of the famous manufacturers "Vibia", "Vistosi" and "Fabbian" are used in the apartment design.
Ceramic mosaics and tiles of leading manufacturers “Sicis”, “FAP” and “LaFaenza” were used in the bathroom. The sanitary equipment of all bathrooms in the apartment was produced by companies “Grohe” and “Villeroy & Boch”.
