Located in Chicago’s Fulton Market Historic District, the ACE Hotel includes 159 guestrooms; 5 event venues, including a landscaped roof terrace; lobby lounge and signature restaurant, and rooftop bar with stunning views of the Loop. Lobby registration and the signature restaurant open to a terrace colonnade at the entry court. A fifth-floor event terrace features landscaping, sculptural play elements and an amphitheater stair structure.
The building design concept is inspired by the Bauhaus philosophy and the establishment in 1937 of The New Bauhaus in Chicago by Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, which paved the way for an enduring legacy of modern design and architecture in Chicago.
Preservation of a small façade contributing to the Landmark District was encouraged, and a portion of the building is designed to harmonize with that structure.
