Since 1999 we have been working as architects, and since 2005 within a shared studio structure. Our work focuses primarily on private residential projects, complemented by commissions in the tourism sector.
For us, architecture begins as a process of thinking and dialogue. Ideas are developed through conversation, reflection and the careful consideration of different perspectives. Only gradually do these thoughts condense into spatial concepts, often first explored through hand-crafted models.
Light and material are essential tools in our work. They shape the atmosphere of a space and influence how it is perceived. Through subtle shifts in light, proportion and materiality, spaces gain depth and presence.
We are interested in small moments of tension within otherwise calm environments. Slight variations in light, texture or spatial sequence can sharpen perception and make a place more memorable.
Color is used sparingly. Instead, we rely on the inherent qualities of materials — their structure, surface and tactile presence.
Our approach seeks a balance between precision and restraint. By carefully composing proportion, material and light, we aim to create spaces that feel clear, calm and enduring.
At the center of our work is the relationship between space and the people who inhabit it. Architecture, for us, is not only form or construction, but an atmosphere that shapes perception, mood and well-being.
