Our collaboration with ZOE Church focuses on seismic retrofitting, strengthening the existing building against earthquakes, and the renovation of the interior as well as the exterior, following strict historical preservation rules.
The two-level facility layout is designed to meet the needs of the attendees. The main church level is 7,500 square feet and features a spacious main sanctuary for worshipping, alongside a narthex, which serves as a gathering space before entering the sanctuary.
The spacious 7,850 square feet underground is the Kids Ministry, dedicated to younger members of the church and designed for children’s studies and engagement with one another. Additional back-of-house spaces, such as offices and prep areas, are included on both floors. Lastly, the exterior combines modern aesthetics with traditional elements.
