As a result of a procedure for calling in expert opinion, Stefan Forster Architects were selected to plan six exclusive villas on the „Mühlberg“ in Frankfurt Sachsenhausen for the Hamburger house-building association „Frank Heimbau“. Situated in a monumental protected park near to the city centre, it is one of Frankfurts most prestigious areas, offering fabulous panoramic views over the city skyline and the forest.
The projects consist of a staggered arrangement of two and three-storied cubes elevated in grey brick - reminiscent of Mies van der Rohes „Lange house“ and „Esthers house“ on the lower Rhein.
Generous windows with slim profiles and high ceiling along witch low balustrades and parquet flooring complete the high-quality interior of the spacious flats.
