Cornell University’s Weill Greenberg Center combines state-of-the-art medical services with superior patient amenities and a serene atmosphere that are in marked contrast to the crowded Manhattan streets outside.
Similarly CGA’s wayfinding welcomes visitors with a low-key but efficient system.
CGA integrated donor recognition into the unique materials specified by the architects. Names are etched or sandblasted into steel, bronze, glass and stone surfaces; cut letters are rendered in bronze, stainless and platinum leaf. CGA’s design honors the generosity of more than 200 benefactors, The system was created so that more donors can be accommodated over time.
