In the southeast of Crete, close to the southernmost port in Europe, a private villa was built overlooking the Libyan Sea.
On the property, which is formed by a variety of soil conglomerates - from rock to reddish-brown earth - a park was created, which is mainly planted with trees, grasses and shrubs that are typical of the area and the climate. In between, there are walking paths and shaded seating areas that invite you to linger.
The building itself recedes into the background with typical local stone cladding, but offers a view of the sea and the garden through generous, floor-to-ceiling glazing.
