The main volumetric concept of the project came from the client's desire: she would like the house to be like a hut, perched on top of a traditional residence. Based on this conception, Vertex House emerged. The upper part, opaquer and with a regular but organic vertical texture, contrasts with the lower part, with open social areas integrated into the house's gardens. As for materiality, light wood and stone predominate, in addition to furniture designed exclusively for the project. The entire interior of the house was carefully thought out by the office, both fixed elements, such as bookshelves and the two-stone fireplace, as well as furniture, some designed exclusively for the project, such as the sideboard in the dining room, which makes up the space next to a piece previously developed by the office, the Mônica dining table.
