On a double plot, the client has decided to renovate and expand the existing construction to create three independent residences, two of which can be temporarily connected.
The existing building remains the same but interior updates are being carried out. Currently, the building consists of two residences, one on each floor. The upper residence will connect to the new construction via a bridge.
The new building will house a three-story residence. On the first floor, there will be a parking area shared by all three residences. On the second floor, you will find the living room, dining area, and kitchen, while the bedrooms will be located on the third floor.
The design of the new construction volume aims to maximize the backyard space, allowing for the inclusion of a small pool. A terrace connects the first floor to the second floor to achieve a seamless connection between the living area, kitchen, terrace, pool, and garden. Without this solution, the garden would be one level below the living area, making access and enjoyment difficult for the residents. This same terrace also creates outdoor living spaces around the pool and garden.
Regarding the exterior facade materials, there is an intention to create a contrast with the existing structure, while maintaining clean and contemporary design lines. These contemporary design elements are combined with a traditional facade system to integrate harmoniously into the residential surroundings.
