Geometric volumes create a dynamic composition of the building. The zones covered with natural materials are arranged in such a way as to protect the main space from the scorching rays of the sun. The zone between the volumes of the building is united by a glass corridor, which makes the structure open and light. Integrated internal green courtyards create a play of light and shadow when sunlight passes through the plants, which makes the interior of the house lively and dynamic.
The entirety of the residential house consists of several details that differ from each other both spatially and materially, but ultimately create a single “ensemble”. The first part of the building is a “bridge” both in terms of visual perception and in terms of its function, connecting the passive and active living areas. The two-story building located on the west side of the “bridge/corridor” includes bedrooms and technical spaces that ensure the functional integrity of the residential house. On the east side, the building develops into a high one-story space, where the kitchen and living room are planned to be arranged. It is also worth noting that, due to the arrangement of the facade of this space, it is connected to the outdoor terrace, which continues with the swimming pool, through the “flowing facade”, the boundary between the indoor and outdoor spaces is erased in this part of the building, all this is exacerbated by the identical arrangement of the floor. Due to the local climatic conditions, this part of the building has a kind of shell, which is arranged with metal trusses and covered with processed bamboo. This shell provides a kind of temperature decrease in both the indoor and outdoor spaces of the building, which is very necessary in summer conditions for comfortable living.
