Within the internal garden sequence, building volumes are carefully deconstructed into scattered “landscape vessels,” each embedded in a distinct natural setting. Program spaces at varying elevations are placed within a two-level, three-dimensional environment shaped by an approximately 10-meter grade change. Architecture, landscape, and interior are tightly interlocked, creating a loose yet immersive garden layout with exceptional spatial depth—expansive and intimate by turns, layered, and highly coordinated across inside and outside.
A flowing water system links the visual thresholds of all courtyards, composing a dynamic panorama from different windows. Through changing acoustics and water forms—from stream to rill, from pool to lake—the sequence culminates in the central courtyard as a spatial and sensory focus.
“Plant rare trees on the mountain, and form a natural garden.” At the lower-ground level, each functional room frames a singular botanical scene. This is where global plant color palettes converge: lush flowering gardens are choreographed against light and shadow, then captured as unique framed views. As seasons shift, the planted compositions continuously transform, gently influencing mood and enriching everyday life through living color.
