This project is to create a mecca for venture capitalists in Azabudai Hills Garden Plaza B. The 4th floor lounge will consist of a co-working lounge, small offices, meeting rooms, etc. The concept is ROOF. The concept is ROOF: while the 5th floor is a social and festive place for VCs to gather, the 4th floor is an everyday place to gather under a roof. To enhance livability, private rooms are placed under the roof, and by placing gaps in the walls, the interior and exterior of the rooms are connected to each other, creating a comfortable and expansive space. The roof is also set up and the walls are dispersed in such a way as to create a circulation between them, creating a back and front side of the space and creating a variety of places for people to stay. The use of a variety of materials to create individual comfort in each location and low-contrast design were aimed at creating a cohesive, high-quality space that is at once diverse.
The two concepts of “NEST” on the 5th floor and “ROOF” on the 4th floor are designed to add not only a place of recreation but also a high-quality everyday view to the TOKYO VENTURE CAPITAL HUB, the first VCs cluster in Japan.
