The William J. Clinton Presidential Center is the winner of a Lumen Citation Award. The lighting is LEED Gold certified, meets strict conservation and exhibition requirements and is designed to respond to the various demands and uses of the space.
The Center complex is made up of two buildings, each with its own specialized group of functions. One building is open to the public, and contains a Presidential Library, exhibits of photography, artwork and other memorabilia, offices and meeting/conference areas that can be rented out to host various events. The other building is not open to public entry, and contains warehousing and storage spaces for private policy documents and other political materials, along with offices and support spaces.
Composed of transparent materials, the Center glows softly at night, establishing it as a recognizable destination in the surrounding landscape.
