The Kipling School is a private educational facility located in the rapidly developing Washington Street area of Houston. Comprised of two, 2-story buildings the campus provides daycare and schooling to approximately 400 children. The North Building is a 12,700 square-foot daycare building while the South Building provides 16,500 square-feet of classrooms for children aged K-5th grade. The design of the campus complements the emerging energy and activity of its urban location. Designed together as part of a master plan, the project was completed in two phases. Over 35% of the exterior walls are comprised of glass, providing abundant natural light into the classrooms. Exterior shades are provided for the classrooms that are oriented toward the west.
