Project Description:
This is a small-scale real estate reception center located within a newly re-zoned district. As the surrounding site is almost entirely surrounded by active construction zones, the project is designed as a minimalist, low-profile, pure white horizontal box to contrast with the vast, open environment under construction. Along the austere wall of the main facade, an inwardly folding curved wall defines a low-key entrance space. Aside from the entrance, the main facade is punctuated only by a few narrow vertical strip windows and a handful of playful circular openings serving as accents. Inside, all major natural light is drawn from a square courtyard near the entrance and a long, narrow lightwell adjacent to the reception lounge corridor, complemented by a low horizontal ribbon window behind the reception counter. This layout aims to create a comfortable, quiet interior oasis amidst the neighboring construction activities.
