Over the years, the Tampa Bay Rays have enlisted PRA to undertake a series of renovations to their current stadium, Tropicana Field. These renovations encompassed various areas, such as space along the third base-line, The Draft Room Season Ticket Club, second-floor offices, and their center field fan area known as "The Porch in Center Field."
The Season Ticket Club seamlessly combines hospitality and comfort to offer a distinctive experience for full season ticket holders. Alongside granting guests exclusive behind-the-scenes access to team staff, players, and coaches, the club boasts an array of seating and entertainment choices. Designed to reflect the team’s brand identity, the space aims to nurture the deep connection between season ticket holders and the baseball club.
Both the Left Field Ledge and the Porch in Center Field have undergone renovations, introducing enhanced fan amenities and elevated game viewing experiences, alongside expanded food and beverage options. Each space is meticulously crafted to deliver unique gameday experiences for fans. Completed within tight schedules during off-seasons, with rapid feedback loops and efficient contract administration, these projects exemplify PRA's dedication to supporting the Tampa Bay Rays in realizing their operational objectives, creating one of the most welcoming entertainment environments in sports and actively engaging fans from the moment they arrive until the last out.
Located on the mezzanine level of Tropicana Field, PRA has transformed a former 9,000 square foot museum space into new offices for the Creative and Marketing Department. Collaborating closely with the Tampa Bay Rays’ user groups, the City of St. Petersburg Fire Marshal, Building Department, contractor, and design-build engineers, the project was successfully executed despite challenging time constraints and adherence to Covid-19 protocols. Innovative solutions were employed to route new mechanical systems, sprinkler systems, and lighting beneath an existing low floor deck, ensuring the realization of goals for a dynamic work environment.
