In 2009, a client acquired a three-story 1950s building, property of the Ministry of Defence, located on rue de Talleyrand in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, east of the Esplanade des Invalides. In 2010, PCA was commissioned to transform this building from commercial use to a private residence, with the exception of ground-floor offices.
Choosing to focus on direct sunlight, away from the original office partitioning, PCA created a central void wrapped by various spaces, allowing multiple views within the same space. This configuration allowed a change in the appearance of the existing facades to give a new identity to the building, away from the austerity of its original grid.
