MTa is working in an Architectural collaboration with RTKL/Los Angeles, to deliver this 800,840 sq. ft mixed-use project in Northwest Calgary. The project which now has development approval and is in the Design Development Phase., will replace the existing 50 year old Stadium Shopping Centre (SSC).
The Client, Western Securities, had requested a 6 building solution that would accommodate a diverse range of building uses ranging from Medical Office, Office, Residential, Commercial /Retail plus a Hotel & Conferencing facility. The entire project is Master Planned around a Central Park and water feature that will be programmed to support a broad range of public uses year round.
The Stadium Shopping Centre is adjacent to Calgary’s Foothills Hospital, and the proposed new Calgary Cancer Centre. The SSC will provide a diverse, mixed-use urban environment supporting the regional and neighbouring communities as they grow.
