St. Joseph's has been designed around six smaller scale Learning Communities that align with 21st Century Learning Pedagogies to support a variety of learning configurations.
An innovative approach to this project was the adoption of Integrated Project Delivery, or IPD, through the formation of a poly-party contract and resultant project team consisting of trades, contractors, and consultants. Through this integrated and collaborative process, the team successfully mitigated numerous project risks including unsettled geotechnical conditions, the use of pre-cast concrete, and assessing the viability of future expansion.
