Six Square House celebrates dualities within its 1.4-acre site in Bridgehampton, harmonizing the sacred with modern, organic with geometric, private with communal, and recreational with functional. The design prioritizes resilience and conservation, including the preservation of a lightning-struck London plane tree, while adding landscapes that draw from the Hamptons’ ecology and garden traditions.
Three distinct landscapes integrate clusters of privet hedges and native wildflower meadow, offering a natural aesthetic and sustainable planting approach, and a perennial garden, adding seasonal color and texture. These elements unify the 1850s farmhouse, Six Square House, and pool house, fostering spaces for entertainment and exploration.
