ALUTECH is a modern industrial enterprise that manufactures and supplies gates, roller shutters, as well as aluminium window and door systems. Due to rapid growth, the company sought a new facility incorporating production areas, a testing center, a warehouse, offices, and a large showroom. The design proposes an elongated two-storey office and exhibition building positioned in front of the production and storage halls. The two building volumes are connected by a single-storey structure housing a cafeteria and a large training room.
The office and exhibition building is accessed centrally. Visitors enter a reception area, which opens to a double-height showroom on the left and the office area on the right. The offices are distributed over two floors and organized as an open-plan workspace, with core areas occupied by secondary functions such as restrooms, copy rooms, cleaning supply rooms, and tea kitchens. The showroom is fully glazed on all sides. To the south, its façade recedes, exposing the concrete columns that support the roof. These stand in a reflecting pool in front of the glass façade, lending the building an almost poetic quality.
The façade is planned to be constructed in fair-faced concrete. The office wing is structured by concrete columns set in a 1.50-meter grid. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow ample daylight to enter the interior, providing high-quality working conditions. The covered exterior area in front of the showroom is defined above by an angled soffit. In combination with the irregular rhythm of the columns, this gives the building a strong sculptural presence
