Northwest Harvest is the largest independent hunger relief agency in Washington State. They had to move from the Cherry Street location where they had operated for over 35 years. Allied8 provided full architectural services: pre-design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, interior design, permitting, coordination with client, selection of and coordination with design consultants, coordination with general contractor and construction administration. The SODO Community Market was designed to be more like a grocery store and less like an institution, which follows Northwest Harvest’s mission to give access to nutritious food while respecting dignity and promoting good health.
