Myrtus was created as a unique space for conventions, seminars and banquets supporting up to a thousand people. The structure solves 22 meters length of spam without columns. At the ceiling, the structure is visible through the gaps left by the diameter-variable circular pieces. The organic geometry of the building, developed under a circular grid, generates continuity between spaces, stimulating visitors to flow through them. Following the building sinuous shell line, alternating surfaces of glass and white concrete rip the exterior walls, generating a rhythmic volume. From the inside, these intermittent windows connect the building with the gardens, erasing the limits between the indoor and the outdoor. The program is solved at three levels. The main floor holds the assembly halls and the kitchen. The second floor is occupied by the offices and a restaurant with its private kitchen for daily service. The garage is at the underground level with the store rooms. The three-dimensional mesh in the of structure solves 22 meters length of spam without columns. The ceiling is made up by diameter-variable circular pieces, the structure shown through their gaps. The organic geometry divides the exterior in three areas: two main areas with porches for outside celebrations and one for the service activities.
